Abstract:
In this paper it is discussed what the ?Scanner Data??s meaning is and how it is using on calculating The Consumer Pr?ce Index which is mostly being preferred by Statistical Offices, especially USA, The Netherlands,Norway, Sweden, Italy, Belgium Statistical Offices. "Scanner Data" is mentioned the importance depending on the advancement of technology and is explained suggested price indexes are described for using Scanner Data and then some advantages and disadvantages after using it.
