Abstract:
The main purpose of this study is to examine the global competitiveness structure of the United States economy which is one of the most important players of the world economy. For this purpose, the data of the World Economic Form Global Competitiveness Report 2019 was used. Factors such as high technology production, high innovation capacity and high productivity are important factors in the high global competitiveness of the US economy. However, on the one hand, reasons such as economic crises, aging population, reduced investment and total factor productivity at the national level, on the other hand, productivity, costs, innovations and technological advances of competing countries on the global level adversely affect the global competitiveness of the United States economy.
