Abstract: En este documento se presentan estadísticas de la industria manufacturera de los países del Istmo Centroamericano, actualizadas hasta 2005. Los cuadros han sido elaborados por la Unidad de Desarrollo Industrial de la Sede Subregional en México de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL). La información se obtuvo de distintas fuentes, como las instituciones oficiales de cada uno de los países, organismos regionales como la Secretaría Permanente del Tratado de Integración Económica Centroamericana (SIECA) y el Consejo Monetario Centroamericano (CMCA), así como de bases de datos de la CEPAL (el Banco de Datos de Comercio Exterior Latinoamericano, BADECEL, y el programa computacional Módulo para Analizar el Crecimiento del Comercio Internacional en su versión Plus, MAGIC Plus, por sus siglas en inglés) (http//:www.cepal.org/magic). The Central American Isthmus: Statistics over the manufacturing sector (Data updated until 2005) Abstract: This report presents statistics over the manufacturing industry of the countries of the Central American Isthmus, updated until 2005. The charts have been elaborated by the Unit for Industrial Development of the Sub regional Headquarters in Mexico of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). The information was obtained from different sources, such as the official institutions of the countries, regional organizations such as the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) and the Central American Monetary Council (CAMC) as well as the ECLAC database ( specifically the international trade database for Latin America, BADECEL, and the computer program,; the Plus version of Model for Analyzing Growth of International Commerce, MAGIC Plus ) (http://www.cepal.org/magic).
