Abstract:
Using survey data from the China Household Finance Survey conducted in 2017, 2019, and 2021, this study examines the influence of financial literacy on farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior. Findings indicate that farmers with higher levels of financial literacy exhibit a greater likelihood of engaging in entrepreneurial activities. Additionally, farmland transfer acts as a partial mediating factor in the relationship between financial literacy and farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior.
