Abstract:
This study empirically examines the impact of internet usage on household entrepreneurship and the mechanisms underlying this relationship using China Household Finance Survey data. Findings indicate that internet utilization significantly enhances household entrepreneurship, with regional entrepreneurial culture serving as a key mediating factor. Additionally, cash payment preferences and risk appetites influence the strength of this correlation.
