Abstract:
We present a comprehensive review of investor behavior in the emerging market of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), applying a bibliometric analysis on a systematic literature review. The bibliometric analysis highlights contributions and collaborations within the field, offering insights into influential authors, journals, institutions, countries, and key articles. By employing science mapping and network analysis, we identify connections and dominant research patterns in the literature, emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of NFT research. We observe fluctuating interest in NFTs, as reflected in public interest trends captured through Google Trends data.
