Abstract:
This study empirically investigates the effects of digital economy enhancement on high-quality foreign trade development using the panel feasible generalized least squares method. The results indicate that digital economy development has a significant positive effect on regional openness and high-quality foreign trade, and regional openness has a mediating role in the process. Additionally, the promotional influence of the digital economy on the high-quality development of foreign trade exhibits heterogeneous patterns of opening-up to the outside world.
