Abstract:
A BABY, a GEEK, and a COW all walk into a bar looking for some BEER and VINO. What happens next? They all beat the market. Head, Smith, and Wilson (2009) (the “2009 Study”) found that a portfolio of stocks with clever ticker symbols beat the market by a substantial margin during the years 1984–2005.
