Abstract:
Regional Integrated Energy Systems (RIES) play a crucial role in promoting low-carbon transformation and sustainable development in the power industry. However, existing dispatch strategies for RIES overlook the varying value of energy storage devices across different time periods, making it difficult to adapt to future energy market development and reduce system operation costs. Therefore, this study constructs a bi-level RIES optimization dispatch model with an energy producer and an energy management center at the upper level, and IESs at the lower level. First, the energy entity dispatch is solved by an improved single-objective black kite algorithm based on a variable predation dynamics strategy (BKAS), while the bi-level dispatch that considers all energy entities is solved by a multi-objective black kite algorithm (MOBKA). Second, a generalized energy pool-driven virtual energy storage framework is proposed to manage energy storage devices without altering the system topology. Additionally, a multi-time-scale synergy carbon-storage game strategy is introduced to balance the economic and environmental benefits of the RIES. Finally, case studies verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed methods and theories. The results show that under the combined effect of the virtual energy storage framework and the carbon-storage game strategy, the economic cost of IESs increases by 1.96 %, carbon emissions decrease by 21.66 %, and the revenue of the energy management center increases by 31.77 %. These findings contribute to improving the operational efficiency of RIES and enhancing the new energy consumption level.
