Experience and preparation of community nursing staff for work associated with HIV infection and AIDS

Abstract: Some of the findings from a national survey of 3754 community nursing staff in England regarding their experience of and preparation for working with HIV infection and AIDS are reported. The current absence of confidence to deal with HIV infection is explained and suggestions made regarding the content of educational developments.
