The status of ISDN in the USA
Kathleen M. Gregg
Telecommunications Policy, 1992, vol. 16, issue 5, 425-439
Abstract:
Implementation of ISDN in the USA has been slow. This article describes the present rate of ISDN uptake and reviews the regulatory and other factors which have hitherto impeded more rapid adoption of the technology. ISDN will be widely deployed in the near future, the author believes, but exactly how this comes about, and how quickly, will have major economic, political and social consequences.
