Abstract:
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), as an emerging transportation technology, offer a promising solution to mitigate transportation problems, reduce pollution, and improve energy efficiency. However, the long-term implementation of substantial subsidies for manufacturers and consumers has become a financial burden. As a result, governments are planning to gradually abolish these subsidies, considering the trade-off between incentive costs and the social impacts of the transportation system.
