Transport Policy, 2014, vol. 32, issue C, 165-171

Abstract: General mobility is a daily behaviour that could result in a positive contribution to overall physical activity through walking for transportation or a negative contribution resulting in sedentarism caused by driving. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between mobility and overweight/obesity in an urban context, while considering physical activity in leisure time, socioeconomic and lifestyle characteristics, and individual health status.
