World Patent Information, 1988, vol. 10, issue 2, 114-119
Abstract:
The situation of libraries or centres holding patent collections in France, Germany (Federal Republic), Great Britain and the U.S.A. is compared. Numbers of libraries, their location, their holdings and the services provided are described and the influence of the environment in which they operate is discussed. The central support given to the libraries is compared along with the effect of local support on their operations and effectiveness.
