Abstract:
Analysis of data relating to the legal status of the Yugoslav patents registered in the period between 1975-1987 based on the provisions of the law which were in force from 1960 until the end of 1981. These data primarily concern the realistic term of patent validity, frequency of payment of fees for patent maintenance, structure of patents whose validity has not expired, patents for which the fee was not paid in the due term, and relating problems. This analysis shows the variance between the provisions and practice of the Yugoslav patent protection system in the discussed period.
