The new United Kingdom Trade Marks Law

Abstract: The U.K. Trade Marks Law has been revised to implement the EC harmonizing directive on trade marks and to make ratification of the Madrid Protocol possible by the U.K. The major changes which the new Act introduces, and the reasons for these, are outlined and explained.
