The patent system in Ethiopia

Abstract:
The present situation in Ethiopia in respect of protection of inventions is described and the problems arising from the lack of specific legislation for such protection are discussed. Important matters to be considered in designing a patent system suitable for conditions in Ethiopia are outlined.
