World Patent Information, 1995, vol. 17, issue 3, 201-204
Abstract:
The article describes how a patents database can be used to identify the best countries for a firm to concentrate on developing sales of its products and the most useful direction of development for its products. The database is used to formulate graphs of patent activity by competitors in various countries, products sold by competitors in various countries and qualities of these products, and developments of products by a firm over recent years.
