Patent information from the EPO in 2005--Recent developments and future plans

Abstract: The current EPO view is set out on a number of important and topical aspects of the provision of patent information by the EPO. Topics covered include; - the quality of the data in the databases made available to the public - the importance of expert users of such databases providing advice and feedback - WIPO standards - PatCom, the EPO and the commercial sector - progress on providing full print copies through esp@cenet® - the emphasis on business aspects of patent information - setting up a Chinese helpdesk, and - the European publication server.
