European patent information 2007: EPO policy reformulated

Abstract:
This article describes the main practical aspects of the EPO's reformulated patent information policy. These are - further improved support to member states, - enhanced barrier-free access to patent information, - facilitating high quality patent applications, - providing new tools for non-professionals and - further development of information, training and monitoring needs.
