Key elements of formation of financial journals of insurance company development, complex potential of its resources

Abstract: The article defines and analyzes approaches of different scholars to the formation of financial sources of an insurance company development, examines the structure of the insurer's capital, the order and principles of its formation. There are analyzed composition of the insurance company capital, as well as the tasks performed by means of forming its separate structural components. The research has made it possible to conclude that the most important component of the resource potential of insurance is its financial potential – a set of cash and income available to fulfill financial obligations, costs for the reproduction of the enterprise and the promotion of employees and financial resources of the insurance organization as an element of its potential – the set is temporarily free funds that are in circulation in an insurance company and used for insurance, investment, financial activities. The insurance company has certain financial resources, investment of which is a source of investment income. At the expense of financial resources, the insurer fulfills its obligations to policyholders, can stabilize its financial position, reduce inflationary pressure, and offer less favorable types of insurance services in the insurance market
