Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of factors conditioning the geopolitical and geoeconomic advantages of Russia's position in the modern world, as well as positive and negative tendencies in the formation of the new world order, the author proves the necessity to develop a socio-economic doctrine capable to ensure equilibrium in the globalization-related changes.
