The influence of EU expansion on foreign investments and Ukrainian foreign trade in services

Abstract: The author investigates the influence of the EU on direct foreign investments in the Ukrainian economy and foreign trade in domestic services. He analyzes various aspects of investment activities and trade in services in the context of the preparation measures in the countries applying for EU entry. The article proposes measures to reduce possible negative impacts of the EU eastward expansion on the Ukrainian economy.
