Modern tendencies of innovative activities

Abstract: The author analyzes the trends in the development of innovative activities in the emerging post-industrial economy at global, regional and national levels, including in international comparisons. He proposes new methodical aspects of the estimation of innovative activities in respect to the system of macroeconomic indicators developed by Directorate of Entrepreneurship of the EU Commission to conduct comparative estimates of EU countries development, as well as their comparison with other countries including USA and Japan within the framework of efforts on the creation of common research area in the European Union.
