Abstract: The author analyses the present condition of the distribution of funds between individual stages of scientific and technological cycle in Ukraine and formulates proposals for improvement of its structure towards increase in the share of applied research and research projects as a precondition for boosting the rate of the introduction of scientific achievements in the production and manufacturing innovative products.
