Competitiveness of the economic environment in Ukraine. Comparative analysis of the ratings of individual countries

Abstract: The author considers the concept of competitiveness of the economic environment, as well as its basic preconditions. The article provides analysis of WEF (World Economic Forum) competitiveness rankings of eight countries (Finland, Estonia, Hungary, China, Poland, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine) based on the indexes characterizing the presence of favorable business environment. The author proposes recommendations on the strategy to increase the competitiveness of economic environment in Ukraine.
