Development prospects of rape growing and problems of bio-diesel production in Ukraine

Abstract: The authors consider the economic importance of rape growing, organizational issues and economic efficiency of its production in Ukraine. A forecast of sowing areas, yields and output by administrative oblasts' is provided for the period of 2007-2010. The authors analyze the Development Programs for rapeseed and biodiesel production, define the main tasks and provide proposals for their realization.
