Knowledge society index in Ukraine

Abstract: The author generalizes international experience in the methodology of assessing the development of knowledge society under modern conditions on the basis of the corresponding integral index first used in 2005 on the basis of the 2002-2003 data. In accordance with the existing methodology, for the index calculation, an information base was created, indexes of knowledge society and social development for Ukraine for 1999-2004 were assessed, and the obtained assessments were analyzed.
