Abstract: The authors analyze various organizational and economic factors of the creation of financial-industrial groups (FIG) in Ukraine's mining-and-metallurgical complex (MMC). They consider the main organizational and economic processes and trends of the world metal market. The article reveals external and internal factors impeding the FIG's development and proposes various guidelines for sustainable development of Ukraine's MMC.
