Optimization model of economic development of an industrial region under the conditions of information uncertainty

G. Makarkina

Economy and Forecasting, 2008, issue 4, 139-151

Abstract: The author proposes a quantitative justification of the optimal trajectory of economic development of an industrial region as the most important subsystem of national economy under the conditions of inversive market-oriented transformation. Due to the peculiarities of information reflection of the functioning of a regional system as an instrument of choice of the optimal alternative, the previous dynamic input-output model was not sufficiently clear. That is why, on its basis, the author carries out a new assessment of optimal trajectory of Donetsk region with regard to investments in energy-saving technologies at different forecasting horizons.
