Abstract:
In many cases, industrially developed countries have inadequately adapted their productive structures to the rapid technological changes and to the evergrowing competitive environment. Structural reforms should, therefore, continue to be implemented throughout the nineties, in order to manage to eliminate, or at least to reduce, the rigidities preventing our economies from becoming more rational and competitive: As for the job market, patterns for collective bargaining, types of contract, restriction on mobility ... ; and concerning the goods and services markets, restrictions on free access to the market, inadequately competitive offer...
