Regulación del mercado de trabajo en Francia: temas y niveles

Abstract: This article presents the characteristics o f the labour market regulation in France, meaning by that the set of rutes which constitute the institutional framework of labour relations. The authors emphasize the clear division existing between wage determination and empioyment regulation, in particular the level of regulation is not the same for wages and employment. They point out also the dominant role of the State in the French system, which has not been diminished by the general evolution towards decentralised bargaining during the 1980s.
