Estructura organizativa y eficiencia empresarial. Propuesta de un modelo contingente de análisis

Abstract: This paper is part of the theory of organization in its contingent perspectiva, and endeavours to describe the corporate organizational structure in Castilla y Leon and to provide some suggestions on its design and efficient behavioural standards. After establishing the pattern of analysis, the model to be contrastes and work hypotheses, the variables considered in the research and the most significant results thereof are briefly reviewed. In this sense, it is significant that, while bearing in mind all the usual caution as regards this kind of study, the model proposed and the methodology used have proved to be fully applicable for contrasting the hypotheses considered, which means an amplification of the tradicional scope of organizational research under the "context-structure-efficiency" contingent paradigm. The article finishes with a brief reference to another field of research within the same discipline: the field displayed by the New Institutional Economy.
