Abstract: This article centers the terms of discussion on work sharing on a dynamic vision based on flexible reorganization of working time. It is not an issue of mere mathematic distribution of currently available employment and its revenues among more people; it is a question of exploring all possibilities of growth, increasing productivity, putting into practice new systems in work time organization and overcoming rigidities in their use, obtaining better results and more employment. The public sector can be asserted to have the same possibilities and need for adjustment and innovation in employment issues as the private sector, and it must adopt similar strategies in the field of working time reduction and distribution.
