Abstract:
In this work the experience of Malaga in designing, executing and monitoring Local Agenda 21 and the continuous learning process and adaptation that has taken place as a result of the participation of the city, as a leading partner, in the Network 6 on Urban Environment in the URB-AL European Program, is presented. Likewise, although still in a first stage of development, it also contains an advancement of the efforts that the City Hall of Malaga, jointly with its partners in the URB-AL Documentation Centre, are currently carrying out to set up a system of good practices indicators that will be incorporated in Malaga headquarters of OMAU (Urban Environment bservatory). The acquired experience calls for the use of measurable indicators that guarantee the objective evaluation of a practice and that allow its enforceability.
