Abstract: The article assesses the evolution of Land Management in the Basque Autonomous Community over the past 10 years. This stage has been fundamental to the development of the vast majority of Partial Territorial Plans and Sectoral Territorial Plans. Many of them began the last decade in development and currently have their final approval. For its part, the maximum exponent and binding document of all these policies, the Territorial Planning Guidelines, have been definitively revised and approved for the second time after exhausting their first cycle. It is appropriate to analyze the degree of fulfilment of the objectives set out, as well as the achievement or development of each of the above-mentioned planning figures. Finally, a deep reflection is given on what this policy has brought to the society and territory of the Basque Country and the challenges of the future that go through the paradigm of the crisis and the necessary sustainability and territorial equity.
