Law, Morality and Economics
Victor Dorokhin
in Books from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This book reexamines the concept of wealth maximization in law and economics, proposing a framework that integrates cognitive and moral dimensions into institutional analysis. Victor Dorokhin critically engages with Richard Posner’s theory of wealth maximization, arguing that such an approach must be guided—and in some cases constrained—by the moral intuitions and normative expectations inherent in human cognition.
