Arkadiusz Wudarski
Chapter 14 in Research Handbook on European Property Law, 2024, pp 157-168 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
The article seeks an answer to the question whether the land and mortgage register protects an owner’s privacy. In the search for an answer to this question, the principle of publicity of the land and mortgage register is analysed. The research is of a comparative nature and focuses on two different concepts of access to the content of the land and mortgage registers in Poland and Germany.
