Rethinking ripeness: in search of mutually enticing opportunities

.

Chapter 5 in Rethinking Conflict Resolution and Management, 2023, pp 68-82 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: Ripeness has been analyzed and obtained Mutually Hurting Stalemate (MHS) but its accompanying Way Out (WO) may be similarly developed as a Mutually Enticing Opportunity (MEO). Questions about NHS need further pursuit, but MEO has a complementary role in leading mediation/negotiation to fruition. Stalemates, opportunities, mutuality, risk, and cooperation need more study in defined ways.
