Dialogue 4 Dissimultaneity
.
Chapter 4 in Socratic Voices, 2023, pp 54-74 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Though law is not reducible to politics, it inevitably roots in politics and can neither deny nor absorb this origin. More: it should not, so as to warrant the openness of a legal order to the challenges it ought to face. This openness, ultimately, lends authority to a state order under the rule of law.
