Abstract:
A human rights perspective on service ecosystems is proposed to examine systemic issues and stakeholder responsibilities. To accomplish this, we integrated TSR with service ecosystem perspectives to develop the Serving Human Rights Framework (SHRF) for achieving sustainable development goals. The SHRF addresses the need to protect human rights in service design and delivery in various service ecosystems across a broad range of needs and multiple stakeholders at various levels. We suggest adopting the relational engagement approach that relies on productive interactions among various stakeholders and propose a future research agenda. Future research on the application of SHRF needs to have two essential and related dimensions: an interdisciplinary and a multi-stakeholder approach.
