Abstract:
This entry explores how cultural images may underpin employers’ diverse relations with state and labor across countries. Depictions of markets, workers, government, and cooperation versus conflict may all matter to employers’ choices of different competitive strategies that rely on greater or lesser cooperative relations with government and workers.
