Abstract:
The European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS) conference stands as the premier annual gathering for scholars in the field of Organization Studies across Europe. Held in a different European city each year, the conference sets itself apart from other conferences by being organized around yearly changing sub-themes. Participants remain engaged with their chosen sub-theme throughout the conference, alongside engaging in conference-wide panel discussions and/or the pre-workshop program. EGOS also serves as the hosting ground for the Organization Studies and Organization Theory journals. Since 2005, the SAP community has been an official and integral part of the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS). With its focus on inclusivity, SAP at EGOS has grown from a small group of core SAP scholars into a thriving, internationally recognized community interested in strategizing and organizing from a practice-theoretical perspective.
