Chapter 6.10 in Elgar Encyclopedia of Strategy as Practice, 2025, pp 702-702 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: The Strategy-as-Practice International Network (short: SAP-IN) was founded in 2008 as a formal scholarly network to support research and teaching on SAP. When SAP-IN was founded, the main objective was to establish a group of world-class scholars who conduct SAP-research and inspire a new generation of scholars. More specifically, SAP-IN aimed at actively encouraging collaborative research among top-tier universities and disseminating findings through academic publications, seminars, and conferences. Additionally, the SAP-IN promoted collaborative networks on both research and doctoral training in the field of SAP. In retrospect, SAP-IN's objectives laid the groundwork for a dynamic and influential research community.
