Chapter 7 in How to Use Storytelling in Your Academic Writing, 2025, pp 84-98 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
In this chapter I briefly review the four major types of validity that the Methods and Results sections address, and the tradeoffs facing all empirical research. I then discuss each section’s purpose, the challenges in writing the methods and results sections, and their general structure.
