Abstract:
This contribution discusses the EU's approach to gender in the legislative processes leading to the adoption of the CSDDD. It highlights shortcomings in the Union's regulatory responses to the disproportionate impacts of business activities on women, while highlighting opportunities for more gender-responsive corporate practices through domestic implementation of the Directive.
