Abstract:
This entry provides some key terms associated with working from home (WFH), offers a brief origin of the concept and focus of early work, outlines the rise of WFH as a function of the COVID-19 pandemic, highlights benefits and challenges associated with WFH, and outlines why attitudes towards WFH have changed such that it might now finally be a significant component of the work mix. It concludes by listing the associated research literature affected by increased WFH.
