Abstract: An influential body of feminists drew inspiration from Frederick Winslow Taylor's contribution to management thought when striving to enhance women's equality and equity in the first half of the twentieth century. This entry both introduces Taylor's views on gender and sketches three of the organisations in which Taylor Society members engaged scientific management principles when seeking to enhance women's status and well-being.
