Abstract:
This chapter examines how Lithuania and Finland implement grassroots and youth sport policies, highlighting key stakeholders in the process and providing insights from two people with extensive experience in implementing such policies at both the national and local level. It also discusses sport organizations’ growing need for skilled and motivated staff in this field and outlines the skills that sport managers must have. The chapter concludes by examining areas for improvement and challenges that managers may face in the future.
