Abstract: This chapter comments on Article 68 of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (EU) 2024/1624, requiring Member States to establish effective, proportionate, and dissuasive penalties for BO-transparency breaches. It enables delegated acts to refine criteria and supports convergence of enforcement practices.
